This is a fully funded six-week fellowship administered by The Lighthouse Works. The fellowship provides room, board, and studio space on Fishers Island, NY and carries $1,750 in stipends. We are currently accepting applications for the following two sessions:

Retreat: Upstate NY Retreat
Owned by a longtime supporter of the arts, this home is perfect for contemplating new work or simply relaxing with friends and family. A three story house, there is plenty of room — three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a basement, a spacious living room, a deck and a large backyard. Full and private access to this comfortable Upstate NY retreat is available for a limited time in exchange for selected artwork.
Fully Funded Artist Residencies at The Lighthouse Works
The Lighthouse Works provides fellows with housing, food, studio space, a $250 travel allowance and an artist stipend of $1,500. Fellowships are six weeks in length and occur year-round. Fellowships are awarded through an application and juried selection process. Past fellows inlude Maya Hayuk, Meredith James, Jacques Louis Vidal and Matthew Fischer. Apply by October 1st to be considered for the Spring Fellowship, January 1st – February 1st, 2015 for Summer and Fall Fellowships.
