Do I need GYST 3.0 to upgrade to GYST Pro?

Yes. You can purchase GYST 3.0 on the website, OR you can simply buy GYST Pro. It's amazing. You won't regret it.

How do I upgrade my current 3.0 software to the new GYST Pro version? How do I transfer my files?
 
You can export your data in a tab-separated text file from version 3.0 and then import that data into version GYST Pro. There is more detailed information to guide you through this process in the FAQ section under Support.

Upgrading from GYST 3.0can be done yourself. Before installing the new software, be sure to use the back up button. Once you install the new sofware, you can import all that information into your new software.

Here's how:

1. make sure you back up your current file using the Backup button under Administration> Security in the 3.0 software.

2. drag the GYST folder inside the current GYST Applications file to your desktop.

3. Install the new file. (GYST Pro)

4. Register it with the same registration number. (If you have trouble email service@gyst-ink.com)

5. Drag the Backups folder from your old 3.0 file on the desktop, into the new GYST folder which is installed in Applications (mac) or Programs (PC). When it asks if you want to replace the Backups folder, says yes.

6. Open the new GYST file, go to Administration> Security. use the Restore from backup button to restore the new file with all of your previous information.

7. Now get crackin'

How come some buttons on my software are not readable and turn white?
